Adventure Tips

Stay on Designated Paths

The rainforest terrain can be fragile; to protect native plants and soil, remain on marked trails throughout the hike.

Bring Reusable Water Bottle

Hydration is key in subtropical climates—carry enough water and refill when available to avoid plastic waste.

Wear Traction-Ready Footwear

Mossy rocks and uneven dirt can be slippery—sturdy hiking shoes with good grip are recommended.

Pack Lightweight Layers

The shaded rainforest stays cooler than surrounding areas but can be humid; dress in moisture-wicking layers.
