There are many mountains along the Kinbasket Reservoir to be explored but none more packed with wildflowers than Lilly Meadows. Named for the glacier lilies that line the landscape, this trail climb's steeply from the valley bottom reveal a stunning alpine landscape complete with wildflowers, waterfalls, and an picturesque lake. The trail gains 800 vertical metres over 5 km (one-way) and for those interested in a longer day can be extended to hike higher into the alpine.
Our Full-Day Hikes are tailored to you group's interests and abilities and can include everything from interpretative forest safaris looking glimpses of wildflowers and wildlife, to steep hikes with wide open viewpoints and everything in between.
Your guide, Ben Nearingburg, is the author of two guidebooks for the Jasper/Robson/Valemount region and can help you connect with the history, and ecology of the Valemount region.
We provide hiking poles, water, and lunch for your hike; all you need to bring is a pair of boots and a sense of adventure.

What does a day on the trail look like? We will meet in the Village of Valemount (meeting time and place to be confirmed with your group the day before your hike). After a quick meeting to discuss safety and potential hazards we will set off towards the trailhead (transportation to the trailhead is not provided and a high-clearance vehicle is recommended for the access roads). Your guide will carry water for the group , lunch, as well as tarps and a few warm layers in case of foul weather.

Hiking Boots (previously used and well-fitted, waterproof boots are highly recommended)
Small Day Hiking Backpack (for this adventure we recommend a pack between 10-20 L capacity for whatever personal belongings you would like to bring). Your guide will carry water, a tarp, and first aid supplies for the group.
