Appelsinhaugen — literally “Orange Hill” — sits at roughly 170 meters above sea level and serves as a compact rooftop where the landscape opens: church spires, the Ranfjorden inlet, and distant industrial silhouettes balanced against mountain ridgelines.

The guided outing is about three hours round-trip with a steady climb to ~170 m; it’s moderate—suitable for those with a reasonable fitness level.
The meeting point is Fageråsen near the ski jump hill at 10:00; hotel pickup can be arranged by the operator if requested during booking.
The guide prepares coffee on a managed fire; participants should not start independent fires and should follow the guide’s instructions.
