In this tour your guide will take you through the mountain along a path used for decades to reach the villages on the south of the Bay, while pointing out and explaining about the different types of vegetation found on the site, such as gigantic fig trees, beautiful plumerias and hibiscus, leafy cecropias and “papelillos”, as well as the most common animals of the site, among which sea and mountain birds and green and black iguanas stand out.
During the hike, beautiful views of the bay are shown and when descending from the mountain path, vegetation opens to give way to a small soft-sanded beach: Colomitos. Famous for being one of the smallest beaches on the coast of Banderas Bay, this cove is home to various underwater attractions, such as pufferfish, angelfish, damselfish, sea urchins and even, with a bit of luck, you can find rays and sea turtles. After our snorkeling activity, there will be an opportunity to enjoy a few minutes on the beach before starting our hike back.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled activity to allow time for check in.
