Highbank 'Red Gate Orchard Walk' follows a trail through our gardens and orchards using the QR coded vernacular red gates and pillars. Forged hundreds of years ago in the farmyard of Highbank and by other Irish blacksmiths, these gates mark the way to listen to our family history and workings of our 5th generation farm.
Follow the trail through the 400 year 'cathedral' oak tree, into the organic woodlands and orchards, enjoy the apples seasonality from blossom to harvest ending with some tastings in the farm shop. 'Pip to Sip'
Our gate has a large yellow sign on the left from the main N76 leaving Kilkenny City. Please drive down the avenue and park in car park provided then check into the Farm Shop in the yard to receive your Orchard Ticket. Thank you
