But in order to do this, we will need to explore the forgotten alleyways and medieval courtyards, look up, around & under, and peer through windows & bars.
The walk will take you into the labyrinth of tiny lanes around Fleet Street and Temple, past ancient cloisters and churches, over forgotten rivers and wells led by your guide who will share his explorer’s eye. As the local resident Samuel Johnson once said “"Why, Sir, you find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford." And this is the walk to keep that torch for London burning bright!
