About This Activity

This guided walking tour features four delicious courses at four local's favorite Whistler restaurants; each considered a hidden gem in the resort's culinary scene. All the restaurants are a close walk, so it’s a great way to explore the Village. If you’re looking for the best way to discover some Whistler’s best relaxed and family friendly places to eat, this is the food tour for you.

Along the way, your guide will enhance the tour experience with their local knowledge and enthusiasm for the wonderful restaurant dining scene in Whistler.

Optional Drinks Upgrade

At each restaurant included on your tour, you will have a choice between BC Red/White wine, BC Craft Beer or Cider.

The drinks upgrade price ($45/pp, plus GST) includes 10% liquor tax and restaurant gratuities, which makes it great value for guests wishing to have wine with their dinner. Any additional wine or drinks can be purchased directly from the restaurants.

Meeting Location

Whistler Public Library We start the evening by meeting at the Whistler Public Library (4327 Main Street, Whistler - just off the village stroll across the road from the Delta Hotel entrance & El Furniture Restaurant).

Please feel free to wait on the couches on the right in the first foyer area. Your Tour Guide will meet you there for an overview of the tour with your guide!

Arrive early and experience Whistler's history at the Whistler Museum which is located behind the Library on the left hand side (it is entrance by donation).

Known for its friendly staff and lively atmosphere, guests will have the choice between two of their signature appetizers. CALAMARI A LA PLANCHA with a Garlic Lemon Olive Oil, OR; HOUSE MADE RICOTTA with Lillooet Honey & Crunchy Sourdough

Wine Pairing (if purchased): 3oz glass BC red or white

FLUTE n FROMAGE

  • 1x Prosciutto, Burrata and Fig Jam Crostini
  • Shared Berthoud Savoyard (burthuhd suhvoy~aad) - Classic French Fondue Dish from the region of Savoie. Made with Abondance Cheese (Cows milk). Served with Potatoes, cornichons and Prosciutto Cotto.

STONESEDGE KITCHEN Choice Between

  • Salmon Risotto: Salmon filet served on a bed of wild mushroom risotto, asparagus and a beurre blanc sauce OR
  • Red Wine Braised Chicken: Red wine braised chicken and vegetables served with thyme mashed potatoes, broccolini, rainbow carrots OR
  • Short Rib Bolognese: House-made short rib bolognese, rigatoni, parmesan cheese OR
  • Ratatouille Stuffed Peppers Vegan: Ratatouille stuffed bells peppers served on wild mushroom risotto

Stop 4

Chef's choice of CHEESECAKE with a blackberry/raspberry compote, OR; CHOCOLATE ALMOND CAKE. Guests often kick back for coffee, tea, cocktails or pints following the tour.

What to Bring on your Tasting Tour

  • Any guest purchasing the Drinks Upgrade must be 19+ and will need to show ID at beginning of the tour.
  • Please plan for and dress weather appropriate and an easy walk between each restaurant.
  • Please let us know about any mobility issues or need for wheelchair access, so we can accommodate.
  • Most dietary allergies can be accommodated - please note on booking.
