Starting with a fairly simple hike through the northern coast area of Puerto Rico, we will find a small crystal-clear water spring, enjoy a nice swim in the purest crystalline waters of this hidden gem. We will then drive to the coast and enjoy a short walk inside the mangrove forest to discover a stunning site with an open cave located at the beach called “Cueva de las Golondrinas” or Swallow bird cave, known as this for the abundance of this birds inside the cave. Enjoy the cave, the beach, and disconnect yourself while you spend some time at this hidden gem. At the end of the tour, an optional stop to get something to eat will be offered.
The hike includes sections through rocky terrain and mangrove mud; wet shoes or sandals help maintain traction and comfort.
You'll swim in a pristine spring, so have your bathing suit ready along with a towel for drying off afterwards.
