A heritage diesel railcar journey in the Forest of Dean with a Railway 200 theme. There will be an on-board display with information on Railway 200, the history of the Dean Forest Railway, the heritage railcar and the role of railways today. A family event with activities for children.
Trains depart Norchard on the hour, with the return from Parkend departing at half past the hour. Tickets allow you to either stay on the train for the 45 minute return trip, or travel from Norchard to Parkend and return on a later train.
Please get in touch before booking if you are looking to do the trip the other way around (Parkend-Norchard return) - please note that there is no parking available at Parkend Station, whereas Norchard Station has a large, free car park.
