About This Adventure

Experience the charm of the 3rd annual Hermann Farm Heritage Festival, featuring 200 acres of rolling hills, traditional craft demonstrations, live music, and a bustling Deutsch Country Market. Highlights include a captivating Civil War reenactment and engaging activities for children, all while exploring the rich history of the farm.

200 acres of rolling hills, demonstrations of farm life, and beautifully restored historic sites - there's lots to look forward to at the 3rd annual Hermann Farm Heritage Festival!

See demonstrations of traditional crafts unique to the lifestyle of homesteaders in the 1800s; enjoy live music being played at various locations on the Farm; You will find many treasures at our Deutsch Country Market housed within our grand stone barn featuring several vendors offering a vast collection of distinctive wares and furniture. Children are encouraged to participate in a scavenger hunt as well as games that were popular in the mid-1800s. These are just a few of the exciting activities being offered at the festival!

Special addition to this year’s Heritage Festival includes The Battle at Hermann – A large-scale Civil War reenactment with authentic uniforms, encampments, and battle scenes, taking place on the very grounds where history unfolded.

While at the festival, guests can immerse themselves in the rich history of the families that lived here on the farm including that of George Husmann, Missouri’s father of viticulture. Tours of our historic homes and the Hermann Farm Distillery will be given at various times throughout the day.
