Henok Live at Smoke & Mirrors: Mindbending Magic in Glenside, PA

Q: Where do I check in?

Check-in and doors are at Smoke & Mirrors Theater @ The House of Magic - 101 S. Easton Rd, Glenside Pa, 19038.

Henok's performances arrive like a glitch in everyday life: a close-up card vanish at a corner table, a stage bit that rewrites your memory of coincidence. At Smoke & Mirrors Theater inside The House of Magic (101 S. Easton Rd, Glenside PA), this visiting mentalist, magician, and humorist brings a tight, audience-driven show that feels both intimate and cinematic. Glenside, Pennsylvania sits on the edge of Philadelphia's northern suburbs, an easy drive or SEPTA hop from the city. The theater is compact and focused; its room-scale vibe makes every gesture and expression read like a private conversation. Key features of the experience are Henok's range—close-up sleight, strolling magic among guests, and a structured stage set—plus the venue's concentrated sightlines and vintage-theater acoustics. The show is intended for ages 16 and up, which keeps the humor pointed and the themes mature. Henok's resume reads like a road map of modern magic: appearances at The World-Famous Magic Castle (Los Angeles), The House of Cards (Nashville), Monday Night Magic (New York City), Liberty Magic (Pittsburgh), and The Magic Lounge (Chicago), where he serves as an Artist in Residence. That breadth shows in the program: a sequence that pivots from laugh-out-loud misdirection to quiet, almost eerie mentalism. It's the kind of set that rewards attention and gives social groups something to talk about long after the lights come up. What makes this stop special for the local outdoor recreation area isn't a geological feature but cultural proximity: Glenside's leafy streets and nearby parks give the evening a relaxed suburban rhythm—dinner at a neighborhood bistro, a short walk to the theater, then a show that sharpens your perception. The theater is a concentrated social hub for Cheltenham Township and Montgomery County, the kind of small cultural engine that builds community identity. Plan ahead: the room's size means seats sell out on weekend dates. Doors and check-in occur at the Smoke & Mirrors Theater @ The House of Magic - 101 S. Easton Rd, Glenside Pa, 19038; arrive early to secure the best vantage and to visit any lobby displays. Bring cash or card for small merch and be prepared for interactive moments; the performance thrives on willing participation. If you're traveling from Philadelphia, this performance makes a walkable, low-fuss night that swaps the predictable for something a little uncanny. Henok's mix of charm, comedy, and technical skill is a sharp reminder that live performance still surprises in ways film and feeds cannot replicate. Ticket prices for the February 19th and 20th, 2027 performances range from $40 to $55; check the booking link for availability and any age or ID requirements at the door. The show moves quickly, so late seating may be restricted. Plan accordingly.
