Join us on a Jet Boat Tour on the Snake River through Hells Canyon! As the Deepest Canyon in North America, Hells Canyon earns its name! This harsh country is best seen from one of our comfortable USCG certified jet boats..

Snake River and Hells Canyon Once the tour is underway we will head upriver to look for Bighorn Sheep that call Hells Canyon home. After the opportunity of taking photographs, we will continue upriver, where your afternoon will include stops at the historic Kirkwood Ranch and Museum, Sheep Creek Cabin, Nez Perce Indian pictographs, and many other sites of interest.

We will stop for lunch, where you’ll have the time to swim, or simply relax. We will continue upriver as far as Rush Creek, Granite Creek, and Hells Canyon Dam if the water level permits. In conclusion your River Adventure will go back to the Pittsburg Landing launch site.

From the exciting rapids to calm pools just right for swimming, you will experience the best that Idaho’s most famous canyon has to offer and experience an adventure of a lifetime!


Details

Snake River tours depart from Pittsburg Landing. Which is about an hour and half drive from Riggins. River Adventures will provide directions.

You will check in at the office at 8am in Riggins, if you are staying North of Riggins, call the office for further directions.

Wear comfortable clothing such as shorts and swimsuits in warm weather. Be sure to bring your camera so you can photograph the bighorn sheep! We also suggest bringing sunscreen, lip balm, and sunglasses. Includes lunch & drinks. Deli style lunch sub sandwich on fresh baked bread, chips, cookie. Optional shuttle service available for $25/person.
