Explore unique dive sites perfect for history enthusiasts and macro photographers! Join a morning adventure at Helldiver and Triple Anchors, where vibrant marine life thrives in 50-60 feet of water. Ideal for certified divers, this experience promises unforgettable underwater encounters and the chance to capture stunning photographs.
If you're looking for something a little different than a Molokini charter, this could be just the thing for you!
You've got to be a certified diver to enjoy these dive sites, as they are both in the 50-60 foot range. You want to be a diver with good buoyancy control as these sites sit in soft silty sand (say that three times fast!) and the bottom can easily be stirred up and annoy marine life, photographers, and other divers.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If it has been over two years since your last dive, Maui Diamond requires that you complete a Refresher Dive prior to your boat trip or hire a Private Dive Guide for your dives.
The Helldiver sits in 50 feet of water and Triple Anchors is at 60. Since we will be diving "square profiles" these dives are ideal for enriched air use if you are nitrox certified. Both sites are small and macro life abounds, as well as plenty of fish.
Do you need rental gear? No problem! We can provide you with a BCD and regulator (and whatever else you may need) for just $30.
DIVER MEDICAL FORM REQUIRED: All certified divers are required to complete a medical history form and some will be required to obtain their physician's release to participate in scuba diving. Here's a link to the form for easy reference and in case it's needed for a doctor visit. Divers who are required to obtain a medical release to dive and who show up without one will be welcomed aboard as passengers but will not be able to dive and will not be refunded. We'd rather get to take you diving, so please get this done!
The Small Print Though this is a site-specific trip, Mother Nature is the ultimate boss of what we do. Should we find ourselves in conditions that do not allow us to safely dive one or both of these spots, we will find an alternate site or two and take it from there. We will not issue refunds if, due to weather conditions, we do not dive at the originally intended site.
Soft silty sand covers the bottom; disturbing it can reduce visibility and disturb marine life.
Some divers must obtain a physician’s release before diving; bring completed forms to avoid missing the trip.
If certified, use enriched air to maximize bottom time at these 50-60 foot depths.
Maui Diamond offers BCDs and regulators for $30—booking ahead ensures gear availability.
The Helldiver site is named for a WWII-era shipwreck that provides a unique backdrop and shelter for marine life.
Maui Diamond Sea Sports promotes responsible diving to protect delicate reef ecosystems and minimize diver impact on sediment and wildlife.
