About

Enjoy whitewater excitement and big mountain views while floating through the heart of the North Fork Valley.

The river twists, turns and drops for 10 miles of fun between the towns of Paonia and Hotchkiss. The action starts in Paonia at School Lunch (class II/III) and Samuel Wave (class II/III) We then enjoy a pleasant float through the heart of the valley, which is punctuated by a 1/2 mile stretch of continuous class III whitewater known as "The Ledges".

  • Difficulty: Class II/III
  • Included: Guide, transportation, all equipment, no additional rental fees
  • Meet Times: 9:00 am and 2:00 pm
  • Season: May and June
