About This Adventure

Embark on a captivating morning tour through the lower valley, exploring the Historic Stehekin School, the stunning Rainbow Falls, and the charming Buckner Homestead Orchard. After a delightful lunch at Stehekin Pastry Company, journey to High Bridge for breathtaking views and a chance to connect with nature before returning to Stehekin Landing.

Join us for a tour of the sites of the lower valley in the morning, visiting the Historic Stehekin School, Rainbow Falls, Buckner Homestead Orchard and Harlequin Bridge. Enjoy a lunch break on your own at Stehekin Pastry Company, then travel the Stehekin Valley Road upvalley 11 miles to High Bridge, the entrance to North Cascades National Park. We will stay in the High Bridge area for 30 minutes where you can take pictures, walk a short way further up the road or one of the trails or just relax and enjoy the beautiful river. On the return trip to Stehekin Landing, we make a stop at the local Organic Garden, arriving at Stehekin Landing at 2:15 to allow time to visit the National Park Service Golden West Visitor Center, local craft shop and the Lodge at Stehekin gift shop.
