Their expertly guided snorkeling trips and sunset cruises deliver an intimate, hands-on ocean experience that stands apart from more crowded tours. Guests embark on the spacious yet cozy Amore, a modern vessel outfitted with gyroscopic stabilization to smooth the ride and maximize comfort. The small-group format means personalized attention, from selecting prime snorkeling spots to customizing tour routes based on real-time ocean conditions. Snorkelers often find themselves sharing the water with multiple turtles within minutes or even encountering a curious monk seal. Beyond traditional snorkeling, Hawaii Nautical offers the rare chance to ride the sub wing—a waterboard that pulls riders behind the boat for a thrilling underwater flight that feels like flying through Maui’s vibrant reef.
Departing from near Maalaea Harbor, tours also include access to the charming General Store for pre- or post-trip snacks, beverages, and meal recommendations, making this a well-rounded day with refreshment and local flavor included.
