Our private setting for one or two guests boasts only five star reviews, 18 of them, on the two biggest airbnb platforms. Surrounded by native Hawaiian forest on three sides and open to amazing skies and cool breezes to the north, Lava Forest Retreat is beautiful inside and out. Interior decor includes custom furniture, created and built by your host, using recycled materials. In your private guest living room are a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Coffee, tea, cream and sugar are provided. Also provided are all the linens, towels and pillows you might need. We also provide you with our special Hawaiian lei scented soap made exclusively for the retreat. Clean, stylish and fresh, this newly renovated 1,700 square foot two-story home is the perfect peaceful getaway. Located in lovely Leilani Estates subdivision, in the heart of the lava zone, this is the real Hawaii, not a hotel. Hosted by the owner, a Big Island resident for 35 years, who highly respects your privacy and is available to guide you on your way to an experience tailored to you, As a former bakery owner, your host has a passion for creating special treats using local ingredients and loves to share them with guests. The spacious, fully furnished, lower floor features a fully-equipped kitchen, dining seating for 8, large living room with Roku tv, mediation room featuring day bed and rocking chair/electric massage chair and marbled spa bath. Views of the rainforest can be seen from the numerous large windows. Open concept, high ceilings, full of knotty pine and custom designed, the lower floor is a peaceful and sublime experience. Outdoor covered bbq area is a fun place to hangout. Lava Forest Retreat is an excellent place to stay whether it's your first time in Hawaii or your tenth.
