Harmony Farm Sanctuary is a volunteer-run rescue dedicated to providing safe, lifelong care for rescued farm animals. Located in Alabama (or unspecified?), the sanctuary cares for more than 150 animals and hosts a range of public experiences that educate visitors and support animal welfare. Visitors can join guided tours, private visits, Open Barn community days, seasonal events like Pumpkin Carving and Sip by the Bonfire, and specialized programs such as a week-long Summer at the Farm for children entering grades three through nine.
Public and private tours introduce guests to animal ambassadors and share rescue stories that highlight rehabilitation, enrichment, and long-term care. Volunteer training sessions prepare new supporters for hands-on work, safety practices, and daily routines so volunteers can meaningfully assist animal care. Exclusive experiences include Patreon member tours and special founder-led visits that offer intimate storytelling and behind-the-scenes access.
Harmony Farm Sanctuary also partners with regional activity providers for unique offerings, including parasailing adventures along Alabama’s Gulf Coast and marinaside excursions that expand community engagement beyond farm. Fundraisers and milestone celebrations, like the tenth anniversary gala, combine entertainment with direct fundraising to sustain daily care and rescue operations.
Every program contributes to the sanctuary’s mission through admission fees, event support, and volunteer participation. The sanctuary emphasizes transparency, experienced volunteer leadership, and a compassionate approach to rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong placement. Visitors leave with deeper insight into farm animal welfare, hands-on memories, and a practical way to support animals in need. Tickets and schedules are posted online regularly.
