Adventure tips

Bring small bills for marketsVendors and local stalls usually accept cash only; carry small denominations (10k–200k VND) to speed transactions.

Wear closed-toe shoesFarm stops have muddy paths and uneven ground—sturdy shoes protect your feet during short walks.

Protect from sun and rainSun can be intense and showers unpredictable; a lightweight sun hat and compact rain poncho are useful even if helmets are provided.

Respect private propertyAsk before entering fields or homes for photos; local families host the lunch—courtesy and modesty go a long way.

Recommended gear

Closed-toe walking shoes: Support and protection for muddy farm tracks and uneven village lanes.
Light rain jacket or poncho: Sudden rain showers are common; ponchos fit over helmets during downpours.
Sunscreen and sunglasses: Open stretches reflect strong sun—protect skin and eyes for the duration of the ride.
Small daypack: Useful for water, wallet, camera, and purchases from markets without weighing down the ride.
