Discover the underwater world with Ebbing Tides Eco Tours' marine biology programs. Engage in hands-on activities, learn about local marine life, and enjoy an educational adventure by the water this spring.
Ebbing Tides Eco Tours provides structured, educational outdoor programs that introduce children to coastal ecosystems and marine life. The organization offers a range of experiences targeting young learners, including a 10-week Marine Biology course with weekly phyla-focused lessons and hands-on activities such as net pulling and dissections. A five-week Marsh Explorers program concentrates on salt marshes, sandy beaches, and maritime forests with field activities that include catching crabs and examining fish. Ebbing Tides also runs a Kids SUP Camp (registration fee $75) that features paddleboarding, sandbar exploration, dolphin-viewing paddles when available, and light fishing — all designed as daily activities during the summer camp schedule.
Programs emphasize experiential learning at the water’s edge and use age-appropriate, guided fieldwork to help children identify species and understand habitats. Course formats and session lengths are provided up front so families can plan participation. Registration details include a named fee for the SUP camp, and program summaries outline what participants will do each week. All listings are presented in third person and focus on clear descriptions of activities, course duration, and the environmental topics covered. Ebbing Tides Eco Tours is positioned as a provider of hands-on coastal education for kids, offering clearly defined programs that connect children directly to marine and marsh environments through active outdoor learning.
