About This Adventure

HSB3 builds off HSB2, introducing unconventional shooting techniques, moving and shooting and advanced-level training designed to prepare you for an actual tactical encounter.

Duration

  • Time: 6 Hours (10am to 4pm)
  • Gun rentals and ammo purchases for this class are availble when you book.
  • Must complete Handgun Skill Builder 1 (HSB1) and Handgun Skill Builder 2 (HSB2) before taking this class.

About

As a follow-up to our Handgun Skill Builder 2 (HSB2) course, this class introduces a variety of new advanced gun handling and shooting techniques. The Handgun Skill Builder 3 (HSB3) course provides you with advanced-level training that gives you the mindset, skills, mental fortitude needed to survive a defensive encounter.

This course is primarily composed of unconventional shooting techniques, moving and shooting and scenario-based training.

Details

  • Classes are always scheduled from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Redwood Gun Club in Manila.
  • Shooting in unconventional shooting positions (Prone, Upside Down Prone, Seated, Kneeling, Knees, 7 different Supine positions, and More!)
  • Moving and shooting
  • Shooting multiple targets
  • Shooting scenario drills

  • Stress Inoculation Drills
  • Fast Paced Shooting Drills
  • Shooting through and around the "Tactical Bigfoot Training Wall"
  • We will be using Viking Tactics paper targets, AR550 Steel Silhouette targets, and Self-Healing Silhouette targets.
  • This is a high-volume shooting course. Bring 300-500 rounds of ammo. No reloads—ammo will be inspected to ensure it is new.
  • Please review the “What to Bring” section below for gear requirements.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old to register. Participants under 21 allowed if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian that is also enrolled in the course.

What to Bring

  • Medium to Full-Size Pistol
  • Hydrate! Bring a Water Bottle
  • Lunch
  • One outside the waistband holster—your holster should be either leather or Kydex specifically designed for the make and model of your pistol. No shoulder holsters or soft pancake holsters. Your holster needs to be able to remain open when you gun is not in it.
  • 300-400 rounds of ammo - Factory new ammunition only. No reloads. No steel core or bare lead ammo. Jacketed ammo only.
  • 3 or more magazines
  • 2 or more magazine holsters
  • Electronic Hearing Protection - Electronic Hearing Protection will be provided if you do not have any.
  • Eye Protection
