About

Unleash your creativity and get your hands dirty with our handbuilding class, where you'll create a unique clay sculpture project. This class is NOT using the pottery wheel. Upon arrival, you'll be given a choice to work with pinch pot or slab style. Clay, being an organic material, has its own set of rules, so some ideas might require modification due to the fragility during drying and firing. Don't worry, though—our experienced instructors at Stroke Of Art are here to guide you through every step of the process and help you adapt your designs for the best results.

In this 1.5-hour group class, you’ll learn to craft ceramic pieces without the use of a pottery wheel. If you can roll out a slab of clay, you can create a variety of beautiful and functional pottery projects, such as cups, mugs, plates, bowls, vases, baking dishes, ceramic holiday decorations, and even outdoor pottery projects. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced potter, this class offers the flexibility to experiment and explore your artistic vision.

Our classes are tailored to both children and adults, making them a fantastic activity for families or groups of friends. The instructor will explain each step as you work on your chosen project, ensuring that everyone creates something unique and personalized. Please remember that clay can be messy, so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

All class materials, including clay, paint, and firing fees, are included in the price. After you finish your project, it will be fired in our kiln and ready for pickup two weeks later. So come on down and play with clay—it's a fun, creative, and hands-on experience for all ages! Book your spot now and start sculpting your own masterpiece.
