The boat slips away from Cable Wharf as the city lights sharpen and a guitar cracks a familiar chord — the harbour breathes around you, tide and breeze nudging the hull. On deck, people cluster along the rail, drinks in hand, while the skyline of Halifax unspools: low brick warehouses, the radar silhouette of the Citadel, and the soft arc of the Northwest Arm. The water seems to push you outward, inviting a new angle on a familiar city.
