This excursion takes you through world famous Paia town, a true surfer’s paradise if there ever was. Don’t forget your camera, our pause at Hookipa overlook is a perfect opportunity to snap some amazing action shots of surfers, wind surfers, and kite surfers alike. If lucky, catch some iconic Maui Sea turtles also playing in the waves, side by side with their human pals.
Next, our Jeep demonstrates its’ value as we 4x4 to a little-known pond deep in the jungles of Haiku. Returning to the coast, and returning to pavement, provides an opportunity to enjoy the Hana Highway and a series of breathtaking coastal cliff side views. Our tour culminates in a bay with a refreshing freshwater stream, and a rare, midnight-black sand beach.
