Hop On, Ride Off! Enjoy the spectacular views of half of Galloping Goose Regional Trail. The Western portion of the Galloping Goose pathway meanders through all the best sights - old growth forest, over railway trestles, and alongside ocean coastline. Look out for whales and get a taste of Southern Vancouver Island's lush nature.

The Half Goose experience is self-guided, but shuttle supported. Riders will meet the shuttle and be transported to the trailhead where they will receive their rental. From here, riders can enjoy the trail back at their own pace, returning to their vehicle to end their adventure.

14:00: Meet shuttle at Rocky Point Road (Stop 2) 14:30: Shuttle drop off and rental start at Sooke River Road Lot (Stop 3) 14:30-17:00: Ride East on the Galloping Goose Trail 17:00: Rental return time at Rocky Point Road (Stop 2)

What to Bring

  • Mobile ticket confirmation
  • Appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes. Please bring a camera, water bottle, lunch/snacks, sun hat, sun screen, and comfortable clothing. There are no stores on the trail route. Be prepared.
