About

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, we've got the perfect kayak trip for you exploring the beautiful waters of the Pacolet River! Experience picturesque views as you take a relaxing journey through stunning scenery and calm waters, discovering hidden gems along the way.

Paddlers can expect to see a combination of slower moving water and short sections of Class I and Class II rapids as the river approaches the town of Pacolet Mills. This section of the river is part of the Pacolet River and Lawson’s Fork Creek Blueway Trail which provides over 50 miles of river travel and recreation.

This watershed supports many uncommon plants and animals, including the federally listed Bunched Arrowhead, bog turtle, and Carolina heelsplitter. The blueway is also a good reminder of the textile industry that once ruled the area, with historic mill sites seen along the banks of the old mill villages.

Vintage View Adventures offers multiple styles of kayaks for rent and will take care of everything you need for this half-day (2-3 hour) adventure that includes equipment and shuttle service as well as shuttle service for those who bring their own equipment.
