About

Our huskies love to work and meet new people all year round. On this tour you will be kitted out with a special belt and have your own dog in harness to help you on the trail, exploring the gorgeous landscape of Ottsjö and Ottsjön, along with plenty of opportunities for cuddles and photos along the way.

The tour covers approximately 8km - 10km of wilderness trail, with views of Ottfjället and Ottsjön along the way. We have a stop for Fika before returning to the kennel.

Each member of the party will have an introduction to their husky and a quick safety demonstration with their equipment before the tour gets underway. The exact trail length/trail taken may vary on the day based on weather and group ability.

As our dogs are working dogs and are taught to pull in their harnesses they are strong on a waistbelt. We recommend you do not have the dogs on a waistbelt if you have back problems or other medical problems that might be aggravated by the dog pulling.

For this reason we also ask that children aged between 5-12 also each have an accompanying adult who can take the dog if the child decides they do not wish to have the dog any longer. For this reason on tours with children each dog will be assigned to a pair (adult/child) so the adult can supervise the dog alongside the child.
