About

Come fishing with us, Coro Cowboy Fishing Charters and experience the magic of the beautiful Coromandel, renown for its great fishing and stunning scenery.

Casual Charters We primarily run casual half day fishing charters (casual or “mixed crew” basis 1, 2, or 4 people).

We can supply bait on request for an extra NZ$20.00 each. If you have your own rod and gear, thats great, bring it along. If you dont, no need to worry, we have all the gear you need. We can do rod hire and bait packages for NZ$35.00 each (both rod and bait options must be arranged prior to trip)

Due to the high number of people who book a casual trip and then fail to turn up or arrive with less than they booked for, we require full payment when the booking is made. This is not refundable.

Group bookings For private or group bookings you can have exclusive hire of the vessel for a half day fishing. (rod and bait packages extra)

If you would like to spend a little more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery in and around the many islands we have here, we also have a full day trip available. At NZ$1900 per day you can’t go wrong !! (rod and bait packages extra)

Larger groups (Groups larger than 10 people) For larger groups, we will work together with other Charter operators, to ensure all your needs can be catered for.

We can also arrange alternative charter times to suit groups. If you would like to enquire about a specific time for your group charter. Any enquiries feel free to contact us. All package and group/exclusive bookings require a $200 deposit, refundable only if we have to cancel due to bad weather. If you cancel within 3 weeks of the trip, we reserve the right the retain your deposit if we are not able to fill the booking, and cancellations made within 1 week are not refundable.

There is a minimum of 5 for our casual charters. If this number is not reached we will have to reschedule to another date. There is obviously no penalty for this.
