Situated in the heart of New Zealand’s South Island, Nelson offers a playground of diverse terrain, framed by coastal vistas and lush native forest. Gravity Nelson taps into this vibrant outdoor culture with its Half Day Electric Mountain Bike Rental, providing access to some of the region’s finest singletrack. Their fleet of full-suspension Mondraker eMTBs, powered by Bosch motors and robust 750Wh batteries, opens the door for riders to cover impressive distances with ease across Nelson’s extensive trail network.

From the moment you arrive at 140 Bridge Street, you’re set up with a bike tailored to your height and riding style — whether that’s adjusting suspension firmness, brakes, or pedal type (flat or SPD). This custom fit ensures comfort and confidence as you tackle trails like Codgers, Sharlands, or the scenic Coppermine Trail. These routes weave through a varied landscape, featuring coastal sandstone cliffs, fern-covered ridges, and stretches of native beech forest, making for striking scenery at every turn.

Nelson’s trails are not only varied in terrain—from technical singletrack to flowy descents—but also steeped in a growing mountain biking culture. Gravity Nelson plays a key role here, offering not just bikes but expert advice, trail maps, and the option to add guided rides or shuttles to expand your experience. Their commitment to sustainable trail use also helps preserve this outdoor gem for future riders.

Whether you’re a local or visiting, the combination of high-end eMTBs and access to signature Nelson trails ensures an exhilarating half-day adventure. Gravity Nelson’s flexible pickup times and personalized service make it easy to fit unforgettable riding into your day, leaving you free to focus on the trail and the stunning environment around you.
