The Pigeon Point section of the Trinity River is the most popular segment and is one of the best family friendly, beginner to intermediate, Class III whitewater trips in northern California and the western US. This trip starts with plenty of relaxing, floating, swimming, and wildlife viewing opportunities, and finishes with some great exciting whitewater rapids. Also, Serendipity Snapshots will take our pictures when we charge the big one!  Group Rates do apply. Your trip includes pristine swimming holes, gorgeous sandy beaches, and exhilarating rapids. You’ll also get VIP treatment when the guides stop and teach you have to play “riverstyle.” Trips include a light snack of chips and salsa or hummus, as well as seasonal fruit.The recommended minimum age for this section is 7+. 🐾 This Run is Pet Friendly.

This trip includes:

  • Exhilarating, technical and splashy class III rapids
  • Amazing wildlife viewing opportunities
  • Two cliff jump rocks with the option to plunge 10 and 15 feet into the river below
  • The pure joy of floating through Otter’s Playpen
  • The adrenaline rush of jumping into the bottom of Hell’s Hole
  • A tasty snack of Chips and our Housemade Salsa, as well as some tasty Fruit!

Safe and Secure Parking Heat Sensitive Items can be stored in our Air Conditioned Office while you are on the water Wi-Fi and Cell Service to check in with your loved ones Before and After your Excursion! Water Bottles(Please no Single use Plastics) Wetsuits, Splash Tops, Booties (If Needed) Life Jacket, Helmet, Paddle Inflatable Kayak (Must be requested in advance of trip)

What to bring:

The weather in Northern California is generally warm and sunny in the summer months, but can be unpredictable so please bring an extra layer of polypropylene or wool for warmth on spring days. All rafters should wear sandals that strap on your feet or tennis shoes with rubber bottoms, sorry but flip flops can not be worn on whitewater trips. Participants should wear clothes suitable for swimming, as well as bring sunscreen and a refillable water bottle.
