Mornings on the Balsa River begin with a hum of engines and the bright urgency of water. Guests leave La Fortuna and ride through farmed hills and small hamlets until the valley opens and the river appears — dark, fast, daring you to step in. The next hours are spent anchored to the raft, paddles synchronized, as class III–IV rapids push and play with the craft and current.
