Guides typically visit a major underground settlement in southern Cappadocia (often Derinkuyu or a nearby excavated site); the exact site can vary by itinerary.
Expect multiple short walks—around 1–3 kilometers in Ihlara Valley and stair climbs at Selime and the underground city; much time is spent standing during explanations.
