About
This Dive is for certified Open water divers (ADVANCED divers recommended) with good fitness that want to Dive along Scripps Canyon! Most companies have you enter and exit the water twice but we do one long extended Dive on our steel high pressure scuba tanks. A much more enjoyable experience (additional tank can be added on). Sea creature interactions include: Garibaldi (California state fish), Kelp Bass, Sheep Head, Guitarfish, Horn Sharks, Rays, Eels, Octopus, Urchin, Sea Cucumbers, Nudibranch, Sea Hares, Spiny Lobster, Halibut, Sea Lions, and occasionally Dolphins passing through! Max depth is 60 feet/18 meters for Open water divers & 80+ feet/24 meters for Advanced divers) Visibility varies but usually clears out around 40 feet.
