Fishing tours Bring your best fishing outfit and some good luck, because we are going after inshore species from kayaks. If you have never kayak fished, or if this is a return visit, we are in it for fun. We focus on a catch and release experience, using top notch equipment, and local experience.
Fishing near mangroves, and in the flats, we provide a unique shallow water experience to remember. Our guides work hard to make your day a blast.
Many different types of inshore fish species can be caught, but we often see trout, snapper, and sheepshead. Who knows what lurks underneath our shallow water experience? A great catch could be on the other end of your line. Most often, we use live bait but can also use artificial and flies.
We do these tours at either of our Lido Key or Siesta Key locations, and a conversation with our guides will help direct our efforts towards customizing your experience. Both locations provide different environments and require different distances to paddle to that day’s fishing spot. While fishing we also encounter various species of birds, and the occasional larger marine life like dolphins and manatees. Come join our fishing adventure!
Not at all, but it helps. Going with a guide can be a learning experience for someone new, or a challenge for an experienced angler. Being efficient in a kayak takes practice, and time. We gear each fishing tour towards the individual to make sure we are maximizing our fishing time, while in line with your experience. The more experience an individual has the more we can narrow our focus and try different locations and techniques.
We hope so! It is called fishing for a reason, and we will do our part to help you be as successful as possible. There are no promises of personal bests, but no matter what we catch from a kayak, it is a unique and exciting experience!
