About This Adventure

Embark on a serene 3-hour kayaking adventure across Dunlewey Lake, surrounded by breathtaking views of Errigal. Enjoy a guided journey rich in history and folklore, with a stop at the Old Church and The Poison Glen. Perfect for all skill levels, this intimate experience promises tranquility and excitement.

Duration: 3 Hours

A relaxed paddle of 2k with unique views of Errigal and the surrounding area taking us from one end of Dunlewey Lake to the other. At this point we will take a break on land, where we will walk to the Old Church and the entrance to The Poison Glen before returning to the kayaks and a paddle back to the start. This will also be a journey through time from the Ice Age to the present day with plenty of history and folklore shared along the way. Minimum age 12

Important to Know

  • No experience required, our experiences are suitable for all, ranging from people who have never kayaked before to experienced kayakers.
  • You do not need to be able to swim to join one of our kayaking experiences. You will always be provided with a buoyancy aid, which will keep you afloat if you are in the water and a guide will always be near to help you back into your kayak.
  • There is a maximum weight limit for our kayaking experiences. The maximum weight limit for our single kayaks is approximately 140kg / 22 stone and the combined total weight restriction for our double XL kayaks is approximately 200kg / 32 stone.
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before booking start time.
  • All tours are in English
  • Ample free car parking at all 3 locations which can accommodate mini buses, with wheelchair access at Upper Lough Na Cuing.
