For the novice or experienced angler we offer a fully guided private ice fishing adventure. Our all-inclusive fishing trips include all the equipment needed, a tent, rods, reels, bait, electronics, and guidance from an experienced ice fishing guide. All you need is a Minnesota or Wisconsin fishing license. Been wondering what ice fishing is all about? This is a great way to give it a try. Are you an experienced ice angler, but new to the river? If so this is a great option to get you on fish quickly.
Our guides will be in touch with you ahead of your trip and will target the species you are after. Panfish and Perch are the most popular targets at our location on the south end of Pool 4.
Some of our guides even offer an "ice lunch" option where they will fry up fishing and chips right on the ice.
We use hub shelters that are rated for 4-5 anglers. We limit to 4 anglers per hub. If you bring kids, they are free if under 16, but must share your hub and electronics.
If you have a larger party please call to book, we can accommodate up to 6 anglers with a single guide and two hubs. We can also accommodate larger groups, such as corporate outings, with multiple guides and hubs.
We are family friendly in that we always fish close to car and road access. You won't feel locked in if you need to run off for a forgotten item or drive to the store.
Temperatures on the ice can be frigid, so wear insulated layers, waterproof outerwear, and warm gloves to stay comfortable.
Always follow your guide’s safety instructions and stay within designated safe zones on the ice to avoid thin ice hazards.
Water-resistant boots with good insulation keep feet dry and warm during extended periods on the ice.
Cold weather increases energy expenditure, so keep hydrated and bring small snacks to maintain your energy levels.
Wabasha is Minnesota’s oldest city and has a rich river heritage dating back to early Native American settlements and fur trade routes.
Efforts are in place to protect the Mississippi River ecosystem, including minimizing impact on fish habitats and maintaining clean water for future generations.
