About This Adventure

About

For the novice or experienced angler we offer a fully guided private ice fishing adventure. Our all-inclusive fishing trips include all the equipment needed, a tent, rods, reels, bait, electronics, and guidance from an experienced ice fishing guide. All you need is a Minnesota or Wisconsin fishing license. Been wondering what ice fishing is all about? This is a great way to give it a try. Are you an experienced ice angler, but new to the river? If so this is a great option to get you on fish quickly.

Our guides will be in touch with you ahead of your trip and will target the species you are after. Panfish and Perch are the most popular targets at our location on the south end of Pool 4.

Some of our guides even offer an "ice lunch" option where they will fry up fishing and chips right on the ice.

We use hub shelters that are rated for 4-5 anglers. We limit to 4 anglers per hub. If you bring kids, they are free if under 16, but must share your hub and electronics.

If you have a larger party please call to book, we can accommodate up to 6 anglers with a single guide and two hubs. We can also accommodate larger groups, such as corporate outings, with multiple guides and hubs.

We are family friendly in that we always fish close to car and road access. You won't feel locked in if you need to run off for a forgotten item or drive to the store.

Pricing

  • $395 for 1-2 anglers and $75 for each additional angler over 15, up to 6. Kids 15 and under are free with paid adults. Please call if you have a larger group and we can provide some additional options.

  • Includes up up to 2 electronics units per group. Each electronics unit includes an ice chirp unit (e.g. Helix 5 Ice), underwater camera, and USB Charger.
  • Fishing rods, reels, and baits used will be selected by your guide based on the target species.
  • Kids under 16 are free with adult rental, but no electronics units are provided for kids.
  • We have new rods, reels and tackle available for sale. So if you liked the gear or baits you used, you can take them home with you, just ask your guide for the price list and availability.

Location

  • We are based in Wabasha, MN. Most of our fishing trips will be in the Wabasha area focused on perch and panfish.

Getting There

  • In most cases we will walk to the fishing areas. In some cases, when fishing further out, we may use an ATV, Snowmobile, or drive cars on the ice. Our top priority is safety!
  • We always stay relatively near parking areas, and ensure an easy walk to the fishing spots. You will have ready access to your car.

Adventure Tips

Dress in Warm, Layered Clothing

Temperatures on the ice can be frigid, so wear insulated layers, waterproof outerwear, and warm gloves to stay comfortable.

Use Proper Ice Safety Measures

Always follow your guide’s safety instructions and stay within designated safe zones on the ice to avoid thin ice hazards.

Bring Waterproof Footwear

Water-resistant boots with good insulation keep feet dry and warm during extended periods on the ice.
