About

  • Tours depart from Big Hickory Island at Estero Bay in Bonita Springs, Fl. Our tour includes paddleboarders and kayakers so everyone in your group can personalize their experience by choosing their preferred type of paddlecraft.
  • Upon arrival we will give you a brief lesson on the proper kayaking techniques and make sure you are comfortable with paddling.
  • Beginner friendly! We start the paddle in the mangroves where there is less wind so you can get familiar with your equipment.
  • Weather permitting we then paddle the inlets and to the sandbars in search of wildlife. Along the way be on the lookout for manatees, dolphins, many species of birds, and an abundance of sea life that is highly visible from your clear kayak.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure for mandatory safety overview

It's a CLEAR Kayak

Our Clear kayaks provide maximum visibility for viewing sea life while you leisurely paddle the SW Florida coastal waters. They are set up to be used as tandems so please book even numbers. If you have an odd number in your group please add a single kayak or paddleboard.

CLEAR vs. Standard Kayak?

A CLEAR kayak is all about visibility... and water clarity is best at high tide, low wind / surf conditions (less churn to suspend sediment). Paddlers often say CLEAR kayaks are a less comfortable since you sit on the bottom. They also can take a bit more effort since they generally don't track as well as a standard kayak. Both styles have pros and cons. It depends on the experience you are looking for.
