About

  • The 2.5 hour tour departs from Big Hickory Island at Estero Bay in Bonita Springs, Fl. Our tour includes paddleboarders and kayakers so everyone in your group can personalize their experience.
  • Upon arrival we will give you a brief lesson on the proper paddleboarding techniques and make sure you are comfortable on your board.
  • Beginner friendly! We start the paddle in the mangroves where there is less wind so you can get familiar with your equipment.
  • Weather permitting we then paddle the inlets and to the sandbars in search of wildlife. Along the way be on the lookout for manatees, dolphins, many species of birds, and an abundance of sea life that is highly visible from your paddleboard.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure for mandatory safety overview

CLEAR Paddleboard Special Considerations

Clear boards are harder to keep straight and take more effort to paddle since they have a flat bottom. If you are looking for an easy paddle a standard board or kayak is a better choice.

Capacity: Only one paddler is possible to protect the clear polycarbonate upper surface.

Weight limit: 225 pounds

Care: To avoid scratching the see-through upper surface please stand only on the area with the turf. To protect the bottom surface and fin from damage PLEASE ensure you have sufficient water depth to fully float the board before getting on. Do not paddle into shallow sand bars or onto the beach. Step off while floating and carry the board by the handle onto the beach or launch area.

Other: These boards are flatter and heavier than standard designs and are therefore more difficult to paddle for longer distances. If you are not an experienced and strong paddler these may be a better choice for a rental than a tour. They do not have bungies, so any items you plan to take should be carried by a friend or your tour guide. Sorry, no dogs as their claws will leave scratches.
