How much dirt bike experience do we have?

  • Combined we have 32 years of dirt biking experience. We are by no means experts, but rather two people who really enjoy riding.

Where will we be riding?

  • Alaska offers miles upon miles of public trails; we will ride where the weather is most favorable and gives you the greatest experience.

Destinations

List of locations we will potentially ride pending trail conditions and/or weather. More locations are coming soon!

  • Jim Creek: Located 15-20min from Palmer and an hour north of Anchorage. Offers a variety of options for every skill level. Sand dunes, hard packed trails, loose rock, single tracks, water crossings, mud pits.
  • Knik Glacier: Located near Jim Creek requires multiple water crossings, mostly flat, sand and rocks through glacial bed, mud pits. (Trail conditions and water level permitting). Rated moderate. Ascent 202 ft.
  • Sutton Area (Jonesville Rd): Approximately 25 minutes north of Palmer. Offers a variety of options for every skill level. Hard packed trails, loose rock, single tracks, water crossings, mud pits.
  • Eska Falls: Located in Sutton. Can expected hill climbs, loose gravel, mud and water crossings.Rated difficult. Ascent 2,889 ft.
  • King River: Located near Sutton.Slick terrain, loose gravel, mud pits. Rated difficult. Ascent 3,050 ft.
  • Permanente Trail: Located near Sutton. Rated easy.
  • Purinton Creek: Located 43 miles north east of Palmer. Mud and water crossings. Rated moderate to difficult. Ascent of 3,000 ft.
  • Monument Peak (Eureka): Located near Glenallen. Offers a variety of options from hill climbs, water crossings, mud and ruts.
  • Purchase Creek: Located in the beautiful Hatcher Pass area. Begins with riding down a creek and into a hill climb. Loose gravel, mud pits, water crossing. Expect muddy conditions. Rated moderate. Ascent 1,586 ft.
  • Petersville Road: Located approximately 2hrs from Talkeetna. Offers dirt road riding out to the Dutch Hills and Cache Creek Mine. Off dirt road can be swampy, loose rocks. Rate easy to moderate.

What to bring

Riders must bring their own gear. We supply the guide and the bike (unless you are bringing your own bike).

  • Chest Protector
  • Boots that come up above the ankle
  • Backpack with some kind of hydration
