You step out of the Doolin Inn into a wind that already seems to know the route — Atlantic gusts pushing you toward a ragged edge of rock and grass. The gravel path rises and falls gently as the cliffs stretch west, the ocean daring you with every crash of surf far below.

Suitable for walkers with basic fitness who can manage 8 km over gravel and exposed cliff edges; a good head for heights required.
Meet at the Doolin Inn, 1 Fisher St, Ballyvara, Doolin at 10:00; arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
Older children who are steady on uneven ground and comfortable near cliff edges can join, but supervision is essential; discuss specifics with the operator if unsure.
