Participants should have a high level of cardiovascular fitness and regular uphill touring experience for sustained skinning and technical transitions.
Meet at the Upper Parking Lot of the Village Shopping Center; guest parking is in the lower lot near the Grocery Outlet with stairs up to the upper lot.
Tours are canceled for unsafe conditions—operator policy is all sales final but outings will be canceled for poor weather for safety reasons.
You should be comfortable touring uphill for sustained periods and able to perform ski-to-skin and skin-to-ski transitions; guides can assist but basic competence is expected.
Guides include avalanche-awareness and current snow-condition briefings; formal companion-rescue instruction may be included or offered as an add-on—confirm at booking.
