The morning air cuts clean over Antioquia as the van climbs out of Medellín and the valley opens toward Guatapé — green ridgelines, coffee plots, and a ribbon of water glinting below. At the paragliding site, pilots walk through a quick safety check; the wing fills and the hillside seems to push you into flight. For about 10–20 minutes you’ll glide above rivers, plantations and a dramatic 90m waterfall, thermals lifting you toward 1,550 m (approx. 5,000 ft).
