About Our Group Tent Site

  • Amenities include: Firepit, picnic tables, portable restrooms, charcoal grill, non-potable water, and private beach on the Trinity River
  • No RV hookups. RV guests can rent an RV space at our sister company located right across the street at https://steelheadcottages.com/
  • Well behaved pets are welcome but MUST be accompanied by a human companion at ALL times. They cannot be left behind during a rafting trip or any other excursion. You must clean up any pet waste and have them leashed at all times. Problem pets and their owners will be asked to leave.
  • Firewood is available upon request $25 per night
  • Pack it in/ pack it out, leave no trace. Any trash left behind is $10 per bag

What to Bring

We recommend stopping to grab basic groceries on your way into town. Once you arrive, the closest grocery store is about 30 min away. There is a small store next door for ice and drinks.

Steelhead Cottages enforces a strict Leave No Trace policy with a $10 fee per trash bag left behind to keep the river pristine.

Keep pets leashed

Well-behaved pets are welcome but must be leashed and accompanied at all times, especially during rafting or excursions.

Bring firewood or purchase onsite

Firewood is available for $25 per night or bring your own to fuel campfires at the shared firepit.

Arrive prepared for limited stores nearby

The closest full grocery store is about 30 minutes away; plan to pick up essentials before arriving to camp.
