2 hour
With 3 boards to use, you can come as a group of 6 and everyone takes turns in the water. The battery time gives approximately 40-50 minutes of ride time each. In truth it ends up feeling like an hour and with breaks and swaps the ozfoiling club allows for a 2 hour window to have fun on the boards, and at reduced outlay this is a great way to explore Fliteboarding.
FAMILY NOTE Age 10 & above can ride unassisted. Under 10 children can in the right circumstances, be given an assisted ride. Stand Up Paddle boards, canoes and surfboards are available for hire to assist a family having a range of things to include everyone. Under 10 are not charged for if given a ride. Please talk to us to help create your special river time and we can work out a large family price or where there are young children in the 10-13 age where a shorter time on the board suits best.
Familiarity with standing on a board or light surfing experience helps maximize your time riding the hydrofoil.
Being on the water can be deceptively dehydrating; bring water to stay refreshed during your session.
UV exposure is strong on the open water; wear reef-safe sunscreen and protective clothing.
With three boards shared by six people, expect some wait time and plan accordingly to make the most of the two-hour window.
Urunga's waterways have long been important to the Indigenous Gumbaynggirr people, with local river systems historically supporting fishing and cultural practices.
OzFoiling uses electric, low-noise boards that minimize disturbance to wildlife, reflecting a commitment to sustainable waterfront recreation.
