Most groups find themselves spending up to an hour exploring the diverse gardens and peaceful corners of our farm. Be sure to leave some time to enjoy the lavender delights of the farm shop and tearoom.

Each season at the farm offers a unique experience. From December to March during summer, the farm is full of blooms, with the lavender flowering season taking centre stage. From April to November, the gardens continually evolve — autumn showcases rich colours, winter offers serene landscapes and spring brings fresh blossoms. All with year-round activities and stunning backdrops.
Whether you're young or just young at heart, stay entertained by a variety of giant games as you meander around our gardens. Choose from Bocce Ball, Checkers, Connect 4, Jenga, and more. Discover other fun purple-themed features including tractors, a tunnel and “the door”.
Say hello to our miniature donkeys, goats, and other endearing animals. During the cooler months, you can even hand-feed our alpacas and sheep. Our animals are always eager to greet visitors and add a special touch to your farm experience.
Enhance your experience by sampling our farm-made lavender products. Smell, taste, and feel the essence of lavender, and chat with our friendly team to learn how these products are crafted.
Visit the hives our bees call home and watch them buzz about, collecting nectar from the surrounding flowers. Enjoy a complimentary honey tasting experience in the tearoom, featuring a range of floral varieties, even lavender honey!
Relax with a cup of herbal tea or indulge in seasonal treats. Our tearoom offers lavender-infused delights such as shortbread cookies, macarons, chocolates, muffins, cakes and scones. A visit to the Wānaka Lavender Farm is not complete without some delicious lavender ice cream, made in collaboration with a local Wānaka artisan.
