About This Adventure

Experience an exhilarating whitewater rafting adventure just north of Whistler Village! Navigate exciting class 2 and 3 rapids while soaking in breathtaking backcountry views. This tour is ideal for both beginners and seasoned paddlers, promising unforgettable moments and team bonding as you conquer the waves together.

Green River Whitewater Rafting Tour

Whistler's only whitewater rafting experience offering class 2 and class 3 rapids. Suited for all aged 10 and older

Tour duration: 2.5 Hour tour

Based on water levels, the time of the river will vary. Length of tour is 5km.

All tours are tentative until minimum numbers are met. Our guest experience team will contact you the day before your tour departure date if the tour is NOT confirmed. If your tour is cancelled by The Adventure Group, you will be issued a full refund.

This whitewater rafting trip, just north of Whistler Village, provides the perfect combination of fun bouncy rapids and picturesque scenery for first-timers or for those on a family adventure.

The Class 2 and 3 rapids you will encounter are sure to jostle your raft and challenge you to break through the white water. Paddling through the waves as a team will no doubt be a bonding experience you won’t soon forget!

This tour begins at our Cougar Mountain Basecamp located on Cougar Mountain, just 12 minutes north of Whistler Village, BC in a coastal temperate rainforest with magnificent mountain and valley views.

Details and Requirements

  • Multiple tours departing daily
  • Price is $154.99 per person age 10 years and older
  • Minimum weight for this tour is 80lbs (46kgs). Call or email us to confirm water levels. Please see requirements on next page for full list of requirements. For safety purposes, guests will be weighed on site at check in.
  • All guests must sign the online release of liability waiver linked in the confirmation e-mail
  • Tours run rain and shine. Rafting is a great wet-weather activity!
  • All tours are fully guided by professionally trained guides
  • Book with confidence with our flexible cancellation policy (full refund 24hrs before tour departure)

While we recommend being a proficient swimmer for this activity, it doesn’t mean that you have to be a member of an Olympic swim team to be safe on the river. PFD’s (lifejackets), wetsuits, booties, and helmet are provided to all participants.

People tend not to travel with a wetsuit. But if you do, personal wetsuits are welcome. We do provide wetsuits if you do not have one.
