We begin our tour at the Jack Poole Plaza, located in the heart of our harbour and convention centre area. There, your guide will discuss the city’s history and development, as well as why it has been named the most livable city in the world numerous times. Following that, your tour guide will take you to Stanley Park, North America’s largest urban park. Stanley Park is full of wonders and great history, from 1000-year-old trees to First Nations totem poles. Your guide will give a totem talk about the carvings’ spirit animals and entities, as well as their cultural significance and the surrounding geology.
Next, we’ll visit Vancouver’s elegant residential area, which contains some of the city’s oldest mansions and was established in 1907 by the Canadian Pacific Railway.
Lunch venues are determined on the day of the tour; your guide will inform you of what is available. Note: Tour buses are no longer permitted at The Granville Island Public Market as of June 4th, 2021. Instead, we offer a walking tour of the Market and its diverse range of retailers, highlighting unique artist products as well as fine produce and hot foods (this portion of the tour is walk only)
