Albayzín preserves Granada’s medieval Moorish street plan while Sacromonte evolved as a cave-dwelling neighborhood closely tied to Roma (Gypsy) culture and flamenco traditions.
Historic lanes and cave homes are fragile — stick to paved routes, avoid disturbing cave entrances, and support local businesses to help preserve cultural landscapes.
Play Granada operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
