Adventure tips

Dress code and footwearWear soft-spike golf shoes and smart-casual attire for the clubhouse dinner; some courses enforce a collar or no-jeans rule.

Stay hydrated on the courseBring a refillable water bottle and drink regularly—especially in summer when fairways bake in sun between shaded stands of pine.

Timing and travelAllow 10 hours for pickup in Florence, transfer, 18 holes, and meals; morning pickup avoids traffic and gives more daylight for play.

Local etiquetteTip your caddy if they improve your round and follow local recycling and composting practices offered during meals.

Recommended gear

Golf shoes (soft-spike): Provides traction on fairways and protection on varied turf.
Layered clothing: Mornings can be cool and afternoons warm—layers let you adapt comfortably.
Reusable water bottle: Keeps you hydrated during the round and reduces single-use plastic.
Sunscreen and hat: Protects skin from prolonged sun exposure on open fairways.
