This is your chance to become a gold prospector for the day and try to strike it rich! We offer hands-on gold panning lessons with our expert staff. They'll provide you with a gold pan and teach you the time-tested techniques for separating gold from ordinary dirt. During summer, pan for real gold in a refreshing mountain creek – countless visitors have unearthed glittering treasures! In colder months, take your panning adventure underground to our convenient panning tank. Remarkably, success stories abound in both locations! Here's the best part: You keep whatever you find!

What to Bring
Water proof shoes if you want to go into the creek. It is fine to stand on the side of the creek too!

Wear waterproof shoes
You’ll be standing in creek water or wet tanks during panning, so waterproof footwear is a must for comfort.
